Patron Events & Salons

Invitation-only gatherings for patrons supporting the long-term future of serious thinking.

Patron Events & Salons are private, invitation-only gatherings for supporters of Thinking About Thinking, who play a critical role in sustaining the organisation’s intellectual independence and long-term mission.

These events are designed to create space for thoughtful, off-the-record dialogue among researchers, institutional leaders, patrons, and invited guests. hosted and curated by the Thinking About Thinking executive team.

Patron Events

Patron Events & Salons exist to support three core aims:

  • Stewardship
Building long-term relationships with those who enable Thinking About Thinking’s work.

  • Intellectual exchange
Creating space for careful, high-signal discussion that does not fit into public formats.

  • Trust and continuity
Allowing ideas, questions, and relationships to develop over time.

These gatherings reflect the belief that some of the most important conversations happen outside formal stages.
