Activities
Neuromonster
An interdisciplinary scientific conference on the foundations of intelligence.
Neuromonster is Thinking About Thinking’s peer-reviewed scientific conference focused on the biological, mathematical, and computational foundations of intelligence.
The conference brings together researchers working across neuroscience, cognitive science, machine learning, applied mathematics, theoretical computer science, and related fields to examine how intelligence is represented, learned, and instantiated in both biological and artificial systems.
Neuromonster is designed as a serious research venue: submission-led, selective, and oriented toward open problems, conceptual clarity, and rigorous exchange rather than product demonstrations or speculative futures.
Upcoming Neuromonster Events
Neuromonster returns to Rhodes for a multi-day scientific gathering bringing together researchers and theorists working on the biological, mathematical, and computational foundations of intelligence.

Call For Papers
Neuromonster, Rhodes 2026
We invite submissions for Neuromonster 2026, a peer-reviewed scientific conference taking place in Rhodes, Greece, in June 2026.
Submissions should present original research, technical analysis, or theoretical work that advances understanding of intelligence at the intersection of neuroscience, mathematics, and computation.
Neuromonster particularly welcomes work that:
Bridges multiple disciplines
Clarifies assumptions and limits of existing models
Connects formal theory with empirical insight
Addresses foundational questions rather than narrow benchmarks
Support the future of intelligence research and understanding
